A Most Uncommon Wine is a secondary quest in Act II of The Witcher. Conrad, a young townsman propping up the bar at the Hairy Bear inn in the Temple Quarter, is unimpressed with the house wine and knows of something far better: a very old vintage sitting in the cellar of a house on the canal. The catch is that monsters have moved in downstairs.
The house is just past the gate to the Dike, at the first junction on the canal. A pack of graveirs guards the basement, so bring your silver sword. Conrad turns out to have drunk his money already, but he offers to split the haul instead: he takes a bottle, Geralt keeps the rest. With the right words, Geralt can squeeze a few orens out of him as well.
