Contract: The White Lady is a witcher contract in the farmlands outside Novigrad, near Farcorners. A notice offers a bounty for killing the White Lady who haunts the fields, and Geralt, always short of coin, takes the job. The contract can also start when he stumbles on the bodies of her victims or on the ruined tower of Drahim Castle.
Geralt’s investigation reveals that the White Lady is a noonwraith, a ghost that appears at the hottest time of day, born from a woman who died a violent, unfair death. The ruins of Drahim Castle hold the clues to who she was and why she cannot rest.
As with other noonwraiths, Geralt has to find the object that binds her to this world, then fight her at noon. Yrden to force her into physical form and Specter oil on the silver sword are the standard approach. It is a small, sad story, like most of the ghost contracts in the game.
