Flowers and Gold is a secondary quest in Act II of The Witcher, set in the Swamp Forest. Yaren Bolt, the dwarf who runs the lumberjacks in their glade, has a little side business in mind: Geralt picks beggartick flowers, the ferryman at the swamp landing buys them, and Yaren takes half the money for arranging it.
Five blossoms are needed, and the swamp’s monsters won’t make the gardening easy. The real question comes at the end – whether Geralt honours the 50-50 split or quietly keeps the lot. Asking around about beggartick (the old man in the swamp, the druids, the brickmakers and the nonhumans all know something) also earns a bit of extra experience, and Gramps throws in the Perfume formula.
