Missing Persons is a short main quest in Skellige that follows Echoes of the Past. Ermion tells Geralt and Yennefer that the Wild Hunt recently destroyed the village of Lofoten on Hindarsfjall, and both of them know that such an attack is no coincidence. Ciri must have been there.
In Lofoten, the survivors are burying their dead. They confirm that Ciri was in the village right before the Hunt arrived, but nobody knows what she was doing there or where she went. The only one who might know is a young man now known only as Craven. He behaved shamefully during the attack, the villagers say, and was stripped of his name and driven out. To win back his honour, he went to kill the monster that lives in Freya’s Garden, and he never came back.
The quest is mostly about talking and investigating, but the grieving village and the story of the disgraced young man give it real weight, and it sets up one of the most moving discoveries in the Skellige storyline.
