Compared with the Wolven Steel Sword base damage rises from 140-172 to 191-233, and it gains an upgrade slot. The next step is the superior version, which needs this one as a component.
Pair it with the Enhanced Wolven Armor from the same tier, and with the Enhanced Wolven Silver Sword for the other half of a witcher’s kit.
How to obtain
Crafted by a journeyman blacksmith once you have the enhanced Wolven steel sword diagram. The recipe consumes the Wolven Steel Sword, so craft it first. Requires character level 21.
