Enhanced Wolven Gauntlets

Enhanced Wolven Gauntlets are the upgraded hand armor of the Wolf School gear, the second of the base game’s four levels (basic, enhanced, superior and mastercrafted). They are medium armor built for a balanced build that mixes swordplay and Signs, and their headline bonus is +6% Sign intensity.

The next step is the superior version, which needs these as a component, and the line ends with the Grandmaster Wolven Gauntlets in Blood and Wine. Compared with the basic Wolven Gauntlets the armor rating goes from 33 to 51. The rest of the enhanced set: armor, trousers, boots.

How to obtain

Craft

Crafted by a journeyman armorer once you have the enhanced Wolven gauntlets diagram. The recipe consumes the basic Wolven Gauntlets, so craft them first. Requires character level 21.

Diagram location

In a cave at the end of the mountain path south of the keep in Kaer Morhen. Climb up into the plant-covered chamber and the chest is just to the left, half hidden by the greenery.
