Head-taker
Head-taker is a heavy-hitting steel sword in The Witcher 2. It deals 35-42 base damage, has a 2% chance to kill an opponent outright, and grants 35 points of damage reduction on block, which makes parrying much safer.
With three upgrade slots it can carry more runes than most steel swords in this list, and it weighs 9. That combination of damage, defense and room for upgrades makes it a strong late option.
