Long Sword

The Long sword is a steel sword in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. It deals 8-11 base damage, which is modest even among early blades, and has a 10% chance to cause Bleeding, so some hits keep wounding the target afterward.

Blocking with it reduces incoming damage by 3. The sword weighs 8 and has no upgrade slots, so it cannot take runes. It works as a basic starter blade until something stronger turns up.
