Robust Cutlass
The Robust cutlass is a steel sword in The Witcher 2 that leans on status effects. Its base damage of 14-21 is backed by a 10% chance to poison and a 10% chance to cause bleeding with each hit, so wounded enemies keep losing Vitality after the blow lands.
It weighs 7 and has one upgrade slot for a rune. It is a light, practical choice against human opponents in the early chapters.
How to obtain
It is sold by the Mysterious Merchant in Chapter 1. It can also be crafted from the Diagram: Robust cutlass, sold by Sambor and by the blacksmith’s helper in Chapter 1, using 18 Iron ore and 4 Timber.
