Sword of Caingorn
The Sword of Caingorn is a steel sword in The Witcher 2 with base damage of 13-17. It has no secondary effects, so it simply hits harder than lighter early blades like Gwalhir or the Superb short sword.
The trade-off is weight: at 9 it is one of the heavier steel swords in its range. It has one upgrade slot, which can hold a rune to add extra damage or an elemental effect.
