Royal Griffin
The Royal Griffin is a colossal, aggressive hybrid monster that fiercely rules the high-altitude skies and nesting grounds of White Orchard. Combining the predatory features of a giant lion and a massive eagle, this majestic beast became highly aggressive after Nilfgaardian soldiers slaughtered its lifelong mate in her sleep. Driven by raw grief and protective fury, the Griffin abandoned its traditional mountain hunting patterns to viciously raid imperial transport caravans and slaughter local civilian travelers along the main roads.
Combat strategy
The Royal Griffin dominates the skies, making the Aard Sign or a well-timed Crossbow bolt essential to clip its wings and force it crashing to the ground. Once grounded, stay close to its flanks to avoid its devastating frontal beak strikes and wing sweeps. The beast is highly susceptible to fire; ignite its feathers using the Igni Sign or throw Grapeshot bombs. Always apply Hybrid Oil to your silver blade.
