The Vulpine Woods is a large, dense forest in southwestern White Orchard. The region’s best timber is cut here, and the woods hide the Abandoned Village and Broken Bridge.

The forest is also where the region’s griffin trouble started. Nilfgaardian soldiers tried to kill a griffin and destroy its nest here, and they only made things worse: its mate went mad and began attacking everyone nearby. That is the beast Geralt hunts in The Beast of White Orchard. The woods also play a part in Contract: Devil by the Well.
