The Alp Contract is a monster contract in Act IV of The Witcher, found on the notice board in Murky Waters on Geralt’s first visit to the village. Tobias Hoffman, the village chief, will pay anyone who thins out the alps – vampiric creatures that like to prey on sleepers.
He wants five alp fangs as proof. The alps lurk in the crypt in the fields near the village, the same crypt where the cemetaur Ureus lives. There is one catch: Geralt can’t harvest the fangs without an alp entry in his bestiary. An old peasant woman in Murky Waters will share what she knows about alps if you bring her some food.
