The Visionary
In The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, the Visionary is a preacher who praises the martyrdom and holiness of Sabrina Glevissig, and his teachings have become the basis of a local cult. He claims that the sorceress’s favour protects him and makes him invulnerable, though how much of this is true is uncertain.
His devotion has a straightforward origin: the Visionary is Yahon, the soldier who ended Sabrina’s suffering at her execution by running her through with a spear. That act transformed his life and set him on the path of a prophet.
One explanation for his supposed invulnerability lies in his candles, whose suet is thought to have protective properties; their smell keeps even ghouls away.
