Moril
Moril is an elven woman in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings who disappeared from Flotsam long before Geralt arrived. People assumed she had simply left the region. Cedric mentions her to Geralt early on, but there is little the witcher can do about it until much later.
In The Witcher 2
At the end of Chapter 1 on Roche’s path, Geralt and Ves storm the house of Commandant Bernard Loredo, and there they find Moril locked away. Loredo had kidnapped her and held her as an unwilling “breeding project”, at the mercy of him and his deranged mother. Beaten and mistreated, she was a broken remnant of her former self, and only her pregnancy kept her going.
As they try to get her out, she goes into labour. Ves helps deliver the baby while Geralt holds off the guards, and the child is a healthy boy. Moril, unable to live with having borne Loredo’s child, takes her own life. The baby is taken to Lobinden.
