Sun Rune
The Sun rune is a rune in The Witcher 2 that is placed in a sword’s upgrade slot. Its listed effect is a damage multiplier of 1.05, a 5% increase to the damage dealt by the sword it is fitted to.
Because runes take up upgrade slots, it works best on blades with several slots, such as the Poisoned Zerrikanian saberra. It weighs 0.2 and has a base value of 150 orens.
How to obtain
Sold by Falas, Lockhart, Polycarp of Rinde, Thorak, the arena merchant, the blacksmith's helper (Chapter 2) and the Mysterious Merchant (Chapters 1-3). It can also be crafted from the Diagram: Sun rune with 1 Essence of water, 1 Elemental stone and 4 Amethyst dust; the diagram is sold by Lockhart, Thorak and the blacksmith's helper (Chapters 1 and 2).
