Mastercrafted Griffin Trousers

Mastercrafted Griffin Trousers are the top-level leg armor of the Griffin School gear, the strongest of the base game’s four levels (basic, enhanced, superior and mastercrafted). They are medium armor built for a Sign-focused build, and their headline bonus is +10% Sign intensity.

They are the component needed to craft the grandmaster version in the Blood and Wine expansion, the Grandmaster Griffin Trousers. Compared with the Superior Griffin Trousers the armor rating goes from 61 to 77. The rest of the mastercrafted set: armor, gauntlets, boots.

Craft

Crafted by a master armorer once you have the mastercrafted Griffin trousers diagram. The recipe consumes the Superior Griffin Trousers, so craft them first. Requires character level 34.

All four Mastercrafted Griffin armor diagrams are in a cyclops’ lair on the east coast of Ard Skellig, southeast of Whale Graveyard and north of Redgill, in Skellige. Climb the rocks on the north side up to the cave; the diagrams are in the left of the two chests.
