Carduin
Carduin of Lan Exeter is a sorcerer from Kovir and a former member of the Council of Sorcerers. He is one of the mages caught up in the coup on Thanedd Island in Andrzej Sapkowski’s saga, and he reappears in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
In The Witcher 2
Geralt’s journal describes Carduin through his past. During the coup on Thanedd, he tried to remain rational and neutral. When it became clear that the mages allied with Nilfgaard had no regard for his impartiality, he teleported back to Kovir, a decision that saved his life.
He appears in Chapter III, when sorcerers from across the North gather at Loc Muinne.
