Earso
Earso is a craftsman and merchant in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. He starts out as a rat catcher hired by the authorities of Vergen to deal with the town’s rats, and he sells traps on the side, some of them big enough to catch a wolf. They are for rodents, he says, among others.
In The Witcher 2
On Iorveth‘s path in Chapter II, Earso can be found in the southern part of Vergen. His traps are what Geralt needs for The Harpy Contract: buy at least seven before heading for the harpy nests.
By Chapter III he has decided that rat catching has no future. He turns up in Loc Muinne as manager and master of ceremonies of a circus troupe that he hopes will become the most famous north of the Yaruga, with performers including Falas, Ilona and the Mighty Numa. He still trades with visitors there, selling trap and bomb formulas and diagrams.
