Ele’yas
Ele’yas is an elf in Iorveth‘s Scoia’tael unit in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Like most members of such commandos, he is young, rash and quick to take up arms for nonhuman freedom, and he is counted among the best fighters in Iorveth’s band.
In The Witcher 2
Ele’yas starts With Flickering Heart in Chapter II on Iorveth’s path. Standing outside the tavern in Vergen, he tells Geralt that a succubus is killing men, with the bodies turning up near a burned village. The investigation tells a different story. A scrap of metal taken from a victim’s arm bone matches Ele’yas’s own blades, as Iorveth confirms, and the succubus insists she had nothing to do with the deaths. The real killer is Ele’yas, driven by jealousy over the succubus.
Geralt can take Ele’yas’s side and kill the succubus anyway, or expose him. Once accused, Ele’yas either flees the town or ambushes Geralt on the way back to the succubus’s lair and has to be cut down.
