Falas

An elven former swordsmith in Loc Muinne who lost his workshop in a riot and now swallows swords for a living.

Falas is an elf in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, met in Chapter 3 outside the amphitheatre of Loc Muinne. He was once a swordsmith, until a riot destroyed his workshop and left him with nothing but his skills.

Rather than hammer swords, he now swallows them. Customers for that act are few, but he still offers reliable work as a craftsman, and he also plays dice poker. His journal entry sums him up neatly: the ability to adapt one’s skills is half the battle. Falas himself admits that his wife was not pleased with the change of career.
