Sabrina Glevissig
In The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Sabrina Glevissig is a sorceress from Ard Carraigh, the capital of Kaedwen, who once served as advisor to King Henselt. She is known for her fierce temperament and determination, reportedly silencing the king by pounding the table and ordering him to listen. Her striking beauty, bold dress and magical power gave her a strong position in Kaedwen and abroad.
Her standing does not save her from Henselt’s anger. After failing him too many times, she is burned at the stake, and with her last breath she curses the king and the battlefield. The effects of this curse are felt many years later, and some soldiers come to see her as a martyr.
After considerable effort, Geralt finds a way to resolve the matter: Sabrina’s spirit is put to rest and the curse on Henselt is lifted.
