Sambor
Sambor is a trader in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings with a proverb ready for every occasion. His favourite, according to the journal, is “No sweets without sweat.” He runs a pawn shop that does good business, and among his wares are scrolls, books and manuscripts.
In The Witcher 2
Geralt meets Sambor in Chapter 2 on Vernon Roche‘s path, in the camp followers’ encampment of the Kaedweni Military Camp. The dwarven food merchant Raymond Gessler has his spot nearby.
Sambor has a second trade on the side: for a fistful of orens he will trim the witcher’s hair. The barber service was added in patch 1.2.
Good to know
- Because Sambor stocks books, he is a good place to look for any monster book Geralt missed earlier. Reading them adds bestiary entries.
- Visit him if you want to change Geralt’s hairstyle on the Roche path.
