Gadwall

Gadwall is a witcher potion in The Witcher 2 and a stronger form of Swallow. It speeds up Vitality regeneration, both in and out of combat, which makes it a good pick before long, tough fights against powerful monsters.

It has drawbacks: while active, Geralt deals less damage and his Vigor drains faster. Drinking Rook or Tawny Owl helps offset these effects. Gadwall adds 40 Toxicity, a heavy load, and has a duration value of 600.

How to obtain

It is sold by the arena merchant. It can also be brewed from Formula: Gadwall with Rebis, Vermilion, Caelum, Sol and Aether; the formula is sold by Felicia Cori (Chapters 2 and 3), Fioravanti, Lockhart and Myron.
