Rook
Rook is a potion in The Witcher 2 that boosts the damage Geralt deals in close combat. Its damage value of 1.03 acts as a multiplier on sword hits, making it a good choice for players who rely on the blade more than on Signs.
Drinking it adds 25 Toxicity, which is low compared to stronger brews such as White Raffard’s Decoction at 50. Its effect has a duration of 600. Rook also counters the side effects of some other potions.
How to obtain
The arena merchant sells Rook. It can also be brewed from Formula: Rook, sold by Anezka, Felicia Cori (Chapter 2 and 3) and Myron, using 1 Vitriol, 1 Vermilion and 1 Hydragenum.
