Lornruk is a lighthouse standing on a rocky headland on the western coast of Velen, battered by wind and salt spray. A wall circles the tower and a lifted bridge blocks the main entrance, so anyone who wants inside has to climb the rocks at the base or swim through a flooded passage guarded by drowners, which leads to the cellar. Beside the lighthouse lies a Place of Power, and the sea below is dark and unfriendly.

In the game, Lornruk is one of the more dangerous stops on Velen’s coast, a spot where treasure, monsters and a route back out of the tower all depend on turning the wheel by the main door and lowering the bridge. A wyvern has made the surroundings its hunting ground, and it will not let visitors leave in peace.

It belongs to the Crow’s Perch region, and it is easiest to reach from Heatherton and the coastal roads north of the Baron’s fortress.
