White Orchard Cemetery

The cemetery lies north of the mill in White Orchard: rows of weathered grave markers around a small stone chapel with statues of Melitele. A Place of Power stands close by.

The graveyard has a dark past. In the 1260s the crypt of the Verrieres family was overrun by wraiths, and the lord Ignatius forced a witcher of the School of the Viper, Kolgrim, to clear it as a trial by ordeal. The villagers beheaded him anyway. Something still lurks in the chapel’s basement today, guarding a treasure.
