Disturbance is a short main quest at Kaer Morhen and part of Ugly Baby. Vesemir tells Geralt that Yennefer set up her megascope as soon as she arrived, but cannot get it to work. That worries Geralt, because a megascope means Yennefer wants to talk to other sorceresses, and that usually means politics and scheming.
Yennefer is not in the best mood, but Geralt helps her track down the source of the magical interference. With his witcher senses he follows the disturbance through the keep and finds the culprit: a crate of dimeritium bombs that Lambert carelessly left near Yennefer’s room. Dimeritium blocks magic, so no wonder the megascope was sulking. Once the crate is dealt with, Yennefer can make her call.
The quest is small, but it sets the scene for the rest of Ugly Baby and gives a nice taste of daily life at Kaer Morhen, where the witchers and the sorceress get on each other’s nerves in the most entertaining ways.
