Bloed Aedd

Bloed Aedd is a relic steel sword in The Witcher 3 with a taste for blood. It has a 6% chance to cause bleeding, a modest Yrden bonus (3-10%), a small critical damage bonus and a little extra experience from humans and nonhumans.

There are two guaranteed sources. The first is Contract: The Mystery of the Byways Murders in Velen, where a missing Nilfgaardian patrol leads Geralt to Sarasti, an ancient ekimmara. The sword lies on its corpse with the trophy. The second is the treasure hunt Shortcut on Undvik: loot the bandits by the boat, read the torn note, and dive into the nearby lake to find a chest with a leveled Bloed Aedd. It can also drop as random loot.

The Yrden bonus is small, so think of it as a solid general steel sword rather than a build piece. It has three upgrade slots.
