The Kingfisher is a busy inn on Hierarch Square in the heart of Novigrad, and the reason a lot of people never make it to bed early. Its main draw is Priscilla, the famous bard who performs there every night, and its notice board and rooms attract everyone from travellers to nobles on extended visits, including Count Kurt Dysart, who has taken up temporary residence here.

In the game, the Kingfisher is where the story around Dandelion takes a decisive turn. In the quest Broken Flowers, Geralt and Zoltan meet at the inn after sundown, sit through Priscilla’s performance and then speak with her. She tells Geralt what Dandelion had been planning, that he meant to rob Sigi Reuven’s vault and had recently raised a ruckus at Whoreson Junior’s lair, which sets up the next main quest, Get Junior.
