Contract: The Creature from Oxenfurt Forest is a witcher contract near Oxenfurt. Usually mercenaries are the ones getting paid to kill things, but this time the shoe is on the other foot: Hans of Cidaris, a soldier of fortune, has announced a handsome reward for whoever can defeat the beast that has nested in the forest outside Oxenfurt.
Geralt’s investigation shows that the creature is an archgriffin, a relative of the royal griffin from White Orchard, but bigger and even more dangerous. This one, known as Opinicus, is a rare white specimen that makes its nest in a ravine near the herbalist’s hut and Aeramas’ abandoned manor, with wolves roaming nearby.
Archgriffins attack from the air and knock their prey down, so Grapeshot, Draconid oil and the Aard sign are the right tools. It is one of the tougher beast hunts around Oxenfurt, and the reward includes the diagrams for Ciri’s armour, Zireael.
