Magnus

The powerfully built blacksmith of the Kaedweni camp and one of Geralt’s arm-wrestling opponents.

Magnus is the blacksmith of King Henselt’s Kaedweni camp in Chapter 2 of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, on Roche’s path. Smiths in an army camp shoe horses, make and mend weapons, and after a battle cut the wounded free of their battered armour.

Magnus is a dependable craftsman and an enormous man of great strength, said to have a grip like a pair of iron pincers. He is also grumpy and does not take commissions from Geralt.

In The Witcher 2

What he will do is arm wrestle. Magnus is one of the opponents in Bring It On: Kaedweni Camp, tougher than the soldiers by the campfire. Beating him opens the way to the camp champion, Adam Pangratt.
