Superior Feline Armor

Superior Feline Armor is the upgraded chest piece of the Cat School gear, the third of the base game’s four levels (basic, enhanced, superior and mastercrafted). It is light armor built for fast, aggressive fighting, and its headline bonus is +15% Attack power.

The last base-game step is the mastercrafted version, which needs this one as a component, and the line ends with the Grandmaster Feline Armor in Blood and Wine. Compared with the Enhanced Feline Armor the armor rating goes from 150 to 180, and it gains an upgrade slot. The rest of the superior set: gauntlets, trousers, boots.

The matching blades from the same tier are the Superior Feline Steel Sword and the Superior Feline Silver Sword.

How to obtain

Craft

Crafted by a journeyman armorer once you have the superior Feline armor diagram. The recipe consumes the Enhanced Feline Armor, so craft it first. Requires character level 29.

In the books & earlier games

Diagram location

All four Superior Feline armor diagrams share one chest in ruins by a river south of Lindenvale, on the edge of Crookback Bog in Velen. Earth elementals guard the ruins, and the chest is in the corner of the northern wall.
