Superior Wolven Boots

Superior Wolven Boots are the upgraded footwear of the Wolf School gear, the third of the base game’s four levels (basic, enhanced, superior and mastercrafted). They are medium armor built for a balanced build that mixes swordplay and Signs, and their headline bonus is +8% Attack power.

The last base-game step is the mastercrafted version, which needs these as a component, and the line ends with the Grandmaster Wolven Boots in Blood and Wine. Compared with the Enhanced Wolven Boots the armor rating goes from 51 to 67, and they gain an upgrade slot. The rest of the superior set: armor, gauntlets, trousers.

How to obtain

Craft

Crafted by a journeyman armorer once you have the superior Wolven boots diagram. The recipe consumes the Enhanced Wolven Boots, so craft them first. Requires character level 29.

In a cave in the Kaer Morhen valley, along the river that flows south from the keep. Break the stalagmites with Aard; the chest is in the bushes behind a big stone pillar in the main cavern.
