Donar an Hindar is the grey-haired jarl of Hindarsfjall in the Skellige Isles. His grandson is Otrygg an Hindar.

Donar attends King Bran’s funeral feast in The King is Dead – Long Live the King and is one of the jarls whose voice counts when the new ruler is chosen at the Coronation.
He also plays an unexpected part in the search for Ciri. The misshapen creature that washed up on Hindarsfjall after Ciri’s escape spent some time in Donar’s keeping, until the jarl sold it to a merchant who wanted a jester for a royal court. That creature is Uma, and Donar’s story helps Geralt follow the trail in A Mysterious Passenger.
