Ge’els is an elf of the Aen Elle and a member of the Dearg Ruadhri, the Red Riders. Alongside Imlerith and Caranthir, he is one of Eredin‘s most trusted lieutenants, but unlike them he does not ride with the Hunt. He governs the elven world from the Palace of Awakening in Tir ná Lia while his king is away. He is a skilled politician and, unusually for Eredin’s circle, an honorable one.

In The Witcher 3

To weaken Eredin before the final battle, Geralt and Avallac’h travel to Tir ná Lia to turn Ge’els against his king. They find him painting in his garden. Instead of calling his guards, he listens, and agrees to come back with them to Novigrad. There, in Through Time and Space, Corinne Tilly‘s dream magic shows him the truth: Eredin murdered King Auberon, whom Ge’els revered.

Ge’els advises Geralt to fight Eredin in their own world and to lure him there with the Sunstone on Skellige, and promises that Eredin will get no reinforcements from home when he calls for them.
