Final Preparations is the umbrella main quest for the last stretch before the final battle in The Witcher 3. After Imlerith’s death, Geralt and Ciri ride to Novigrad, where Triss and Yennefer are trying to bring the Lodge of Sorceresses back together. Avallac’h is waiting in the city too, with his own idea of how to weaken Eredin before the showdown.
The quest ties together several storylines that each need to be finished. In Blindingly Obvious, Geralt and Triss go after Philippa Eilhart. In The Great Escape, he helps Yennefer free Margarita Laux-Antille from the prison of Deireadh. In Through Time and Space, he travels with Avallac’h to try to win over one of Eredin’s allies. Along the way, Ciri also gets a chance to settle old scores in Payback.
Once all the pieces are in place and the Lodge has met, everything is ready for the fight against the Wild Hunt, and the story moves on to Skellige in Battle Preparations.
