Saskia
Saskia is a rebel leader in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, a young woman famed for remarkable courage in battle and admired by those who followed her. Many legends surrounded her: some said fire could not harm her and that she had lived through the battle in which Sabrina called down flames on the fighters, and she was also known as a dragon slayer. Even Iorveth, though the Scoia’tael rarely care for human women, was visibly taken with her.
Saskia was poisoned with thaumador by Olcan, a priest in Prince Stennis’ retinue. As Geralt uncovered the full truth about her, the pieces came together: she was a high-born dragon capable of taking any form, including a human one.
Later she lost control of her own will. Whoever commanded the dragon stood to gain great power, and when she appeared she proved to be a deadly weapon in someone else’s hands.
