Esterad Thyssen is a Northern Realms Hero with 10 strength in the Close Combat row. As a hero he ignores special cards, weather and abilities, so frost, Scorch and the like can’t touch him.
To get him, you have to beat Sigismund Dijkstra at his bathhouse in Novigrad. The match is part of Gwent: Big City Players.
There’s a timing detail: Dijkstra can’t be played from the start of Final Preparations until after Reason of State if you side with him. If he dies, the card is awarded automatically, so you won’t lose it. Read more about Dijkstra in our character guide.
