Berengar
Berengar was a witcher of the School of the Wolf who trained at Kaer Morhen and was once Geralt’s companion and colleague. He appears in the first Witcher game, and his name comes up again in The Witcher 3.
In The Witcher 3
Berengar does not appear in person. Instead, Geralt finds a note he left behind in one of the empty bedrooms at Kaer Morhen, describing his work on an exceptional silver sword called Tor’haerne. Vesemir fills in the rest in Berengar’s Blade: all of Berengar’s attempts went wrong, and he lost the diagram while heading downriver to kill a chort. Geralt follows the same route, kills the chort and recovers the diagram.
