Haren Brogg
Haren Brogg is a merchant and one of the most important people in the village in the Outskirts of Vizima, where Geralt meets him in Act I. In The Salamander’s Tail, the Reverend will not trust Geralt, so Geralt has to win over Haren, Odo and Mikul first.
Haren’s trust comes through Strangers in the Night. Drowners have been attacking the men who guard his goods on the riverbank at night, and Geralt clears them out. Haren pays him, and Geralt learns that the elves he met are Scoia’tael who trade with the merchant. In Dice Poker: The Novice, Zoltan names Haren as one of the locals who play dice poker.
In Act II, Haren hires Geralt in Hot Potato to carry a small parcel to a man named Coleman at the Hairy Bear in Vizima, no questions asked. The jailer Jethro takes the parcel, claiming it is illegal, and Geralt is left to explain the loss to Coleman.
