A Kaedweni soldier famous for drinking, whose shenanigans can be traced across three games.

Odrin is a Kaedweni soldier whose true talent is drinking, and his reputation for it, and for “having a good time”, goes before him.

In The Witcher 2

At the Kaedweni camp, Geralt meets three drunken soldiers all looking for “Odrin”. Ask who he is and they just say you will know him when you see him. Sure enough, Geralt eventually finds him passed out in front of a cave on the beach below the camp.

In The Witcher 3

Odrin never shows up in person, but the trail he leaves is hard to miss. After Kaedwen fell to Redania, he briefly enlisted with the Nilfgaardians near White Orchard, ate and drank enough for several men for two days, and deserted. Letters and notices across Velen, Novigrad and Redania record his exploits: posing as an Oxenfurt graduate, skipping out on inn bills, stealing mead, advertising himself as company for any lady and finally passing out in the Silverton district. By the time of Blood and Wine he has even reached Toussaint, trying to earn a living by showing people certain “immodest” sights.
