Hindarsfjall is the sacred eastern island of the Skellige archipelago, unique for its lush vegetation and dense forests amidst an otherwise rocky environment. The island is the spiritual heart of Skellige, housing the Freya’s Garden temple complex, which features ancient oak trees, sacred water springs, and a community of priestesses dedicated to the goddess. Because of its holy status, violence is strictly forbidden on the island, though it recently suffered from a tragic, supernatural curse involving an undying werewolf.
