The Golden Sturgeon is a big, noisy tavern down by the harbour in Novigrad, where the air smells of tar, fish and spilled mead. Sailors and dockhands make up most of the crowd, and the place is known for fistfights and for regulars who come to quench their thirst for drink and, now and then, a bit of bloodshed. If you want a quiet evening, you are in the wrong part of town.

For Geralt, it is one of the busiest spots in the city. The innkeep sells food, drink and Gwent cards and is part of Gwent: Playing Innkeeps, and the brawlers here are part of Fists of Fury: Novigrad. Captain Wolverstone at the bar is one of Geralt’s options for a ship in Destination: Skellige, and Corinne Tilly upstairs is at the centre of Novigrad Dreaming. The tavern also plays a role in A Dangerous Game and Black Pearl, and the notice board outside hands out Contract: Deadly Delights.

In short, it is a rough harbour dive that doubles as a quest hub, and most players end up spending far more time here than they planned.
